There are two things that you can do with Pixopedia: paint and edit images. If you get started with a blank canvas, you can use Pixopedia to paint anything you want – you can use Pixopedia’s brushes to express your creativity. If you load an image into Pixopedia, you can use the application to edit the image you loaded – you can use Pixopedia’s editing tools to modify the image as you see fit.

The system requirements for running Pixopedia are: Pentium 4 processor or better; at least 1GB of RAM; minimum 1280 x 1024 screen resolution (1920 x 1080 or higher recommended); Windows operating system.
Pixopedia works on Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 without any problems. To work on Windows 95, 98, NT, or 2000, Pixopedia needs the gdiplus.dll.

The interface is just what you would expect from an application of this type: the drawing or image you’re working on is presented front and center; various drawing tools and editing options are presented all around. So if you’re familiar with photo editing tools, you will quickly figure out Pixopedia’s interface. It must be mentioned here that Pixopedia has a tabbed interface. Open multiple images and tabs for each of them will be presented in the upper left hand corner.

As mentioned at the start, you can get started from scratch and draw anything you want. Or you can load an existing image and edit. You can apply a filter, add custom text, warp the image, adjust the colors, draw on it, and more. Since Pixopedia is free software, you have all the time in the world to uncover all the drawing and image editing features that Pixopedia has to offer. If you find value in Pixopedia, please consider making a donation.

Pixopedia is quite a handy tool for drawing and editing images.

Pros

The system requirements for running Pixopedia are incredibly low. The interface has a familiar layout; you will immediately feel at home, especially if you’ve used applications of this sort in the past. Use Pixopedia to draw anything you want; use Pixopedia to load and edit images. The "Save As" function provides support for lots of formats. Pixopedia is free software (donations are welcome).

Cons

None that I could think of.
